- Be specific. Be clear on what you want to accomplish and how.
- Set a deadline. When do you want to accomplish your task by?
- Be realistic. Don't pile on so much that you start to feel overwhelmed. If you are guilty of overloading your daily list, try for 2-3 tasks a day.
- Break it down. Take large projects and break them down into smaller tasks.
What are 3 things on your to-do list? Here's my to-do list for the month of October:
- Set up the baby crib.
- Upload our last summer photos to my online photo book project.
- Call about piano lessons.

#1: Get pretty baskets for my laundry room
#2: Get one of those plastic shoe holder things that hang in the closet and hold shoes - except that I'm going to use it in my hallway closet for hats and gloves.
#3: Get a lazy susan for my pantry
I keep reading about the importance of setting deadlines, but yet I never attempt them. Why? Why can't I do for myself at home what I was so good at doing at the office?
Thanks for the tips.
All tips I need to learn. This is for the next two weeks:
1. Get jeans hemmed. Call tomorrow to set up date.
2. Finish packing suitcases by Wednesday night.
3. Go through photos from conference and have them printed by Oct. 9th.
