I've come up with 8 simple home organizing projects that you can do in 20 minutes or less. I'll be sharing these quick projects with you during the next few weeks.
Project #7
Take a look at your linen closet. Sort through the items and take out the stuff that you don't use or need anymore. Straighten up the stuff that you do use.
Utilize a system by designating a purpose each shelf. For example, one shelf could be for the master bedroom linens, another for the children's room, and the next for extra toiletries. Check out the before and after photos of this linen closet.
*Apply project #7 to any closet in your home.

I got this tip from the 2peas site: store a set of sheets inside one of the pillowcases!
So simple, yet I never thought of it!
Organizing my linen closets would help me find things easier, not use the same towels over and over again because I just add the clean towels on top of the mess that is my closet and give me peace of mind.
Okay, this is wierd!! I thought I commented on this post a few days ago but it didn't show up!! Hmmmm, must be a google glitch somewhere. Anyway, our linen closet is so small so I have all kinds of things stuffed in there...in fact, I just went through all of it and got rid of a bunch of sheets that we never use (and probably never will). Can you believe it still didn't leave any more room??
My stepdad came over recently and he was giving me all kinds of ideas of things I could do with the kids' closets to make more room for their clothes and toys. It made me think of you...I just kept thinking he should collaborate on a blog post with you...LOL!!!
CJ-I learned that tip from someone who attended one of my talks. I love it-thanks for sharing it here!
Helene- Keep up the great work! It's great to get ideas from lots of different people. I'm always learning something new. Let us know what tips your stepdad shared and work for you!
