Could you use a little spending money? What about uncluttering? Go through your house, room by room, and collect those items that you could stand to part with.
Ask yourself questions:
- Do I need this?
- Do I use this?
- Do I have another one of this?
- What would happen if I got rid of this?
- Could someone else use this?
- When is the last time I used this?
- Do I or someone else in this home love this?
Having less stuff can be freeing, not just in space but in energy. Face it, the more stuff you have, the more you have to take care of. If you are overwhelmed by the clutter - eliminate some of it and regain some money while you're at it.
- Hold a rummage sale with a friend.
- Sell items on eBay or Craig's List.
- Take items to a consignment shop.
- Swap items with friends (this works great with clothing).

Great ideas! I'm so anti-packrat (the opposite of hubby) that I'm ALWAYS giving away or selling something because it's taking up space!
I am selling on Cragslist and giving away my daughter's clothes that she's grown out of to my friend who has 2 younger daughters. Hand me downs are awesome!
This is exactly what I'm doing! I can't believe the sheer amount of stuff in my house that qualifies for a garage sale. Unreal!
