Tuesday was Election Day and it was a big day for communities across the country, even for our small Village of Johnson Creek. As emotions ran high leading up to and following the big voting day, I found myself thinking a lot about change and how scary it can be.
When faced with change, we have two choices: to resist or to adjust. Change might be hard work and it can certainly be painful at times. But, the outcome can be growth. Growth makes us stronger.
Making the choice to finally get organized is an adjustment. The unknown can be scary and the work ahead can be intimidating. However, the results and benefits are worth it.
